Lambley Community Group

'Laughing Lambley' has kindly paid a subscription to Nottingham Community Transport for the Village Community Group. This will enable outings to be organised from Lambley, without having first to get to Nottingham for transport. The minibus (maximum persons 16) is equipped for the less-abled and will pick-up and deliver back to the bus stop by Lambley Church, although other stops may be negotiated if needed. See the Parish Magazine for further details.

Lambley Men's Group....

Is a group of gentlemen who meet on the First Tuesday of the month, usually in the Woodlark Inn, Lambley. The meetings are very friendly and informal, usually accompanied by liquid refreshments of various kinds, with a variety of interesting Guest Speakers, sometimes including members of the Group themselves. There is a cost of 3 per session, and a light buffet is usually provided.

Lambley Village Hall Association

LVHA hold their meetings in the Village Hall, usually on the second Wednesday of each alternate month, commencing with an AGM in March

Forthcoming meetings during 2020-21 will be held on:

May 13, July 8, September 9, November 11, January 13 2021, March 10 (AGM)

The present committee members were returned unopposed to post during the last AGM. This is not really sustainable over the long term, and we welcome interest from all members of the community to join us in administering YOUR Village Hall.

Lambley Village Quiz Night raised  1660.63 for the Nottinghamshire Air Ambulance Service. Very many thanks to all who took part and who kindly donated raffle prizes, and to Julie, Billie, Chris, Jenny, Katja, Sylvia, and all their helpers, for, once again, making this a successful event.

It has been announced that the local organisers of the monthly meetings are unable to continue but  the meetings will still take place.
